Return To Oz Stamp.

Now, this is something I would've liked to do, but with a different title pic. But, I guess since I saw the pic I used for this stamp, I decided THAT would work for a stamp of this movie. Now, if you have read the title (& why wouldn't you?), you know this stamp if for a little-known movie that's called "Return To Oz".

For those of you who don't know this movie (& I'm assuming that there's a LOT of those.), it's an unofficial sequel to the Universal Classic (I say unofficial because this was never intended as a sequel, & was made by Disney, not Universal.). The story is that after 3 months of being back in Kansas, Dorothy can't get anybody to believe she really did go to Oz. Plus, since she won't shut up about it, her family decided she must be crazy & have her put through electro-shock therapy. However, before she can be put through it, lightening strikes the asylum, setting it on fire. Dorothy escapes from the asylum & gets on a table on a river, which floats out into the ocean... all the way to Oz. Now, once in Oz, Dorothy discovers something is amiss. If you wanna see what, track down the movie & give it a watch. Trust me, you'll thank me for it.

Now, don't let the bright colourful-ness of the stamp fool you. The actual movie is DARK, illustrated by my mentioning of electro-shock therapy in my description of the story above. In fact, it TANKED because people expected it to be like the Universal original, & were just horrified at what they saw in theatres. However, don't let the darkness of the film drive you away from it either. It also has its share of kid-friendly action & adventure as well.
