Camp Green Lake Scouts.

Here's something from my third Camp Lazlo fanfiction, which is not even started yet, I have to say. It's a "what if" kinda fic that crosses Camp Lazlo with the movie, Holes. It's basically a retelling of Holes that'd occur if the Squirrel Scouts had been in it. Here's how it works.

Nina, Pasty, & Gretchen are preparing for another year at Acorn Flats, but they miss their bus. Luckily, they know that that wasn't the only bus that goes to Acorn Flats. They find more buses, some of which will also go to Acorn Flats. However, in getting to the buses, they accidentally board the wrong bus. They start to notice something's amiss when they botice nobody else boarding the bus, & it goes off with only them & 2 other people inside, the bus driver, & some guy. They ask the guy why he is on the bus, but he's confused about why they're asking him why he's on a bus he's SUPPOSED to be on. Then the Squirrel Scouts ask him if the bus is going to Acorn Flats. That's when he drops the ball. They're headed for Camp Green Lake.

So, that's why the Squirrel Scouts are dressed like this. They're wearing Camp Green Lake uniforms. & the shovels are for their daily digging of a hole that's 5 feet deep & 5 feet in diameter. As you can see, Patsy isn't phased much by this, but believe me, in the fic, she will indeed be. Nina's looking down at Gretchen, though I intended for her to be looking at her shovel. & Gretchen, well... she's absolutely furious by this. But you'd be too if you went to the wrong camp & was forced to spend your whole day digging holes under the hot sun in a desert-like lake bottom populated by rattlesnakes & poisonous lizards with a bunch of older & tougher guys when you SHOULD be having a nature hike in a lush forest with a bunch of girls your own age. Anyway, I hope you like it.
